Marco Malagon is a junior at UT Dallas. He currently serves his community as an advocate for the DREAM Act, Equal Education and serves as Role Model for young students to pursue education and Community Service. Along with other incredible students, Marco A. Malagon Co-Founded the North Texas Dream Team and Texas Dream Alliance. He serves as the affiliate lead liaison with United We Dream, a national network organization. All of these organizations work towards achieving the passing of the Dream Act by actively engaging in the local, state and national level. Marco A. Malagon was chosen as a candidate for the Magdaleno Leadership Institute because of his commitment and dedication to serve others in any way he can. As for the future, he plans to pursue a Master’s Degree in Business at UT Dallas or SMU.  He is convinced that education is the best path to achieve our dreams.
