Erik F. Burgos-Soto is an alumnus of Southern Methodist University with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. While at SMU, Erik was actively involved with the College Hispanic American Students, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and Sigma Lambda Beta Int’l Fraternity, Inc. Erik was chosen as a candidate for the Magdaleno Leadership Institute for his unwavering commitment to serve others and high level of integrity. As for future plans, he will work towards the passage of the DREAM Act as part of the North Texas Dream Team. Erik strongly believes “You are the author of your destiny. Let it be of love and valor, not fear and assumptions.”
